In 2020, we launched FC Barcelona's streaming platform, 'Barça TV+', as part of a strategic roadmap to monetise the club's vast digital fanbase. Available on web, Android, and iOS, the platform offered over 1,000 hours of content, including 3,000 videos on demand in three languages. Exclusive original series and documentaries produced by Barca Studios further enriched the content offering.
We implemented an agile approach, starting with a minimum viable product (MVP) and continuously iterating based on user feedback. Barça TV+ was integrated with the Culers premium membership, offering exclusive benefits. This initiative was positioned as a key revenue stream for the club, contributing to FC Barcelona's long-term financial sustainability and digital innovation.
